Dr. Crest (Kevin Nealon) is stuck in an ever decreasing time loop caused by his experiment. Through his iterations he tries to solve the mystery that caused the experiment to go wrong. He believes he has found the problem after discovering an eco-terrorist, Julie (Jennifer Copping), among his workers, but the loop continues.
Finally, he figures out that the one sabotaging the project is none other than his friend Colonel Glade (Ronny Cox), who tried to modify the teleporter into a bomb to save his career. Dr. Crest is able to remove the bomb alterations and get outside of the teleportation area, while the Colonel stands by the device as it explodes.
The show ends by showing the Colonel stuck in an infinite loop, repeatedly reliving the second he died.
